There are very few five star holiday cottages in Somerset with indoor pool access.
The pool is 15 metres (50 feet) long so is perfect for serious swimmers as well as for those whose idea of a luxury holiday is doing very little.
The pool is a constant depth of 1.4 metres, accessed via steps in the water. Make sure you bring swimming aids for the smaller members of your team (for safety reasons, we do not supply these).
Heating is by environmentally kinder heat pump technology, and the atmosphere within the building applies recovered heat to fresh air drawn from outside.
During the day, access your favourite tunes on Spotify through the Sonos sound system. In the evenings, download a movie or enjoy MTV on the 4 metre wide projection while you swim.
Guests of Jack’s Barn, The Garden House and Deerleap can each schedule private swimming time in advance. Once you arrive at Lilycombe, a simple booking system allows you to reserve times when the pool is exclusively yours.
The Treatment Room is in the swimming pool building, so you can take turns for a massage while taking time out in the pool.
Before your arrival, you will receive login details for booking the pool. The calendar is only bookable 24 hours ahead which make sure that all guests get a fair distribution of time.
